I started painting after we bought the apartment we live in 2022. I was looking for art to decorate and enhance the décor and perhaps I was looking in the wrong places, because it all seemed impersonal and seen over and over again. Then I had a go at doing my own art work.

It helped that I had artistic roots in the family and even if I have not touched a canvas before, I had been always looking for ways to express the beautiful and creative part of me be it in a craft for kids or in a layout in the house or in a decorated cake.

Now reaching for a canvas brings me joy but also the tension of finding the right notes that will make me surprised and happy at the end of the process, hoping it will make the viewers happy as well and open to dreams and further reflection.

This endeavor helped me not only find my own expression but also discover all the great contemporary artists that create nowadays, people that I admire and learn from.
